Job Description

Manager, Field Planning & Analytics, Immunology

Strategic partner to Immunology Sales Leadership, responsible for sales force territory design and alignment, call plan design and Implementation, including managing the Targeting and Planning (TAP) tool, and roll forwards. Analytics and reporting support across all Immunology brands and sales forces. Primary point of contact for day-to-day Field Planning and Analytics Team activities, with expectation to maintain a strong partnership with Sales & Marketing, Alignment Operations, MABI, BTS, CoE, IC and Tools teams as well as external vendors to enable higher performance. Responsible for identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

Owns and manages critical Sales Force workload factors and considerations in evaluation and creation of territory alignment and placement.End to end management of the call planning build process, including partnership with the MABI team for inputs, deciding business rules, working with the AD/D and other stakeholders, managing timelines & requirements, collaborating with the vendor and finally distribution and communication.Accurate execution of roll forwards including collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure timely deployment of call plans.Partner with the franchise on the TAP configuration and roll out including field training.Provide analytical and reporting support across all brands and sales forces.Develop and maintain project plans (timeline, meetings, SOP etc.)Understand the underlying business needs and translate into actionable plans in a timely manner.Develop training and communications.Provide sales force sizing and structure support as needed.Maintain in-depth knowledge of sales forces, products/market dynamics, operational processes, business partner engagement, call plan strategy, IC plan etc.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree required.5+ years of analytical experienceStrong critical thinking & analytical skillsExcellent problem solving and cognitive skills.Collaborative and Self motivatedPossess a high degree of proficiency in several technical areas. Must be comfortable with querying data tables, understanding data warehouses, have experience managing and interpreting large datasets.Data visualization skills (Javelin), Power BIProgramming language experience (i.e., SAS, R, SQL, Snowflake, Dataiku)Proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially Excell and PowerPointEffective communication, storytelling & presentation skillsCustomer focused mindset ensuring our field teams and other stakeholders have everything they need to succeed.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to ensure business needs are met timely.Synthesize direction and ideas from multiple teams and implement into workExcellent project management skillsAbility to clearly and confidently articulate complex and technical concepts to stakeholders that may not possess the same level of acumenDemonstrated Leadership:Works with little guidance and minimal follow-upsDesigns and runs analyses independently.Proactively propose and prioritize process improvements.Confidence in providing subject matter expertise to Senior LeadershipViewed as a trusted partner and has established credibility with field sales management and functional support teams.
