The Robotics Project Manager is a position accountable for executing projects for the Autonomous Robotics Operations (ARO) product line. This position is responsible for delivering ARO revenue and maximizing profitability on projects by delivering services safely, on-time, and within budgeted cost range of the assigned scopes of work (SOW). The Robotics Project Manager is a key role in the scaling activities of ARO as a global service offering.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leads execution of ARO projects at customer sites in locations/countries where SLB conducts business. This includes on-site deployment of the Robotics Project Manager and/or the coordination of deploying SLB Robotics Engineers.
- Manages scheduling of personnel, hardware, software, and related partners/contractors to execute ARO projects.
- Increases ARO revenue by expanding SOW's for client ARO projects through discovery of value-added activity during project execution.
- Coordinates training and certification of ARO field service team for proper qualification of executing ARO projects.
- Provides technical input to commercial teams during ARO project planning and proposal activities.
- Identifies and communicates peripheral opportunities for the Production Systems (PS) and Digital portfolio when executing ARO projects.
- Other Responsibilities as required:
- Assist with external promotion/marketing
- Provide Voice of customer feedback
- Participate in robotics related associations and activities (i.e.-SPRINT Robotics, Energy Drone Robotics Coalition, etc.)
- BA or BS degree preferred in mechatronics, engineering, or computer science.
- +5 years of robotics field experience
- Exposures (one or multiple):
- Ground Robotics (Quadrupeds, wheeled, or track robots)
- Inspection Robotics
- UAV's
- ROV's
- XR/VR
- Oil & Gas upstream, midstream, and downstream operations
- Excellent opportunity management skills, with an ability to juggle many tasks and opportunities simultaneously yet close opportunities quickly and thorough.
- Strong customer interaction skills.
- Strategic thinker able to execute tactically and efficiently in a well-organized manner, with strong documentation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
- Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirements.
- Proactive attitude and quick aptitude for learning new methods, strategies and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated, as well as collaborating in a team environment.
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship and travel abroad as required to execute projects.
The compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.
At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $125,000 to $155,000.
