Specific duties include: install, upgrade, configure, optimize, and administer the Informatica platform, either on-premises and/or IICS; manage the Informatica platform components related to configuration, security, and connectivity; liaise with Systems Administrators, Management, UNIX Administrators, Network Administrators, and DBAs to schedule and implement changes; support production jobs with performance tuning, metrics, and troubleshooting; manage the Informatica technical support relationship; monitor all environments to detect issues and trends before they impact users; demonstrate knowledge in logical and physical data modeling, data integration best practices, tools, and technologies. Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Data Warehouse Specialist, or similar position in Informatica administration. Specific experience must include: administering the Informatica Platform on-premises or IICS in a multi-terabyte data warehouse; working with multi-terabyte databases including PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle; working with SQL, Linux Shell, PowerShell, and PERL; working with enterprise scheduler Autosys; presenting complex technological concepts clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences; working across multiple business and technical teams; and working in fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadline delivery timeline.
