We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Medical Unit in Nampa. This position will be located at our Medical Center off I-84 and Garrity Blvd.
As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You also educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.
About this Position:RNs working on the Cardiac Medical Unit will care for patients who need additional observation to rule out chest pains or outpatient status patients. It is a fast-paced, independent work environment with strong leadership and great opportunities for career growth and advanced training. Our ideal candidate is able to work independently with confidence, is adaptable to change, and invested in self-driven learning.
Education:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
License/Certification Requirements:
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire
