Overview

An Overnight Security Attendant is a part - time employee who will act as primary security of all assets at the Ford Idaho Center. They are responsible for providing a safe environment for our guests and ensuring all buildings are secure.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15 to $17.00.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to all guestsGreet all guests at the gate to assure they are properly credentialed and are to be there.Prevent unauthorized people and prohibited property from entering the facility and or property;Respond to alarms, emergencies and other incidents as needed to preserve life and protect property;Greet and assist Drive Buys requiring access to horse stalls and RV spots.Do a nightly stall check during large scale horse eventsKeep and maintain a cashbox at the beginning and end of a shift.Provide directional assistance to guests throughout the complexControl and monitor all access to all restricted areas Provide a safe and secure environment for the Ford Idaho CenterReport actual/suspected violations of FIC policies, procedures, rules or regulations to your supervisor.Complete an incident report on a timely basis, as requiredMaintain various electronic records;Operate CCTV cameras, vehicle gates, fire alarm panels and other life safety equipment;Act as a member of the emergency evacuation team by directing guests to emergency exits as neededConduct exterior patrols to detect hazards and suspicious activity;Conduct interior patrols to detect hazards and suspicious activity;Hand out materials to guests as needed for events including parking passes.Follow all event procedures and safety standardsProvide excellent customer service assistance to all clientsAll other duties assigned by Security Manager or Supervisor

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferredMust have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environmentMust have a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to operate a motorized vehicleCustomer service experience and exceptional customer service, communication skills.Comfortable working with the public with an outgoing and friendly personalityComfortable with the potential of working around animals such as horsesAbility to communicate clearly and concisely in the English languageAbility to work both independently and as part of team, remaining flexible in your roleAbility to work flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends and holidays.Ability to work the majority of Arena events at the Ford Idaho Center.
