Summary

This candidate will report to the Office of the Chief Administrator Office / Information Managment Division. The ideal candidate for this position will be an analytical individual that is high energy, a problem solver, and a self-starter with an understanding of the Privacy Act and E-Government Act. Should have experience with privacy compliance documents such as a Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA).



Duties

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this position, you will assist FEMA Program Office's and Regions with their Privacy compliance documentation.

Typical assignments include:

  • Represent Privacy on a variety of issues and occasions.
  • Review, edit, and develop privacy policies for FEMA Privacy.
  • Conduct business process reviews to identify vulnerabilities that could result in a breach of PII.

All positions are subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official duty station, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official position description. Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
