Summary

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in project management and risk analysis to determine privacy mitigation strategies. Additionally, the candidate will have knowledge of Privacy Compliance documentation (Privacy or Data Impact Assessments, SORNs, and Privacy Act or Privacy Statements) development and processing, as well as an

understanding of fair information practice principles.



Duties

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this position, you will lead a team to review program activities and documents for privacy impact which includes but is not limited to PIAs, SORNs, CMAs, ITARs, Appendix Gs and Privacy POA&MS.

Typical assignments include:

  • Incumbent is responsible for advising FEMA on department-wide and agency policies and program objectives on matters that pertain to implementation of the Privacy Act, Computer Matching and Privacy Protection Act.
  • Coordinating and resolving external and internal privacy issues for stakeholders.
  • Preparing and reviewing correspondence for grammatical errors, consistent with established

    policies and procedures.
