We are currently seeking a UX Lead Designer - Remote to join our team in Remote, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

At NTT Data, the Sr. UX and ECommerce Architect Designer's primary role includes ensuring that our products are intuitive, innovative, and accessible for users. Working with the product development team, you will compare the proposed approaches and designs from the lens of the product's usability and layout. Be responsible for Ecommerce solution design for client implementations. You demonstrate a strong understanding of all UX areas including research, conceptualization, UI design, prototyping, testing & validation. Your work will include journey maps, service blueprints, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and prototype. Your ability to apply design thinking enables you to solve complex problems while remaining flexible, adaptable, and focused in sometimes ambiguous situations.

  • Expertise in creating wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, user personas, journey maps, user research, usability testing, and information architecture.
  • Participate in the entire design process of our digital products & services from initial research, ideation, conceptualization, and design, to testing and validation.
  • Plan and conduct primary and secondary research and synthesize research and build insights, reframe problems, and provide recommendations that enable our teams to generate and iterate on new solutions.
  • Create overall user experience within ecommerce environment or product, ensuring all interactions are intuitive for end user.
  • Keep concept of mobile first top of mind when designing site elements/ experiences. Demonstrate solid grasp of usability principles.
  • Design the interface within an Ecommerce site (desktop and mobile) or product, from the palette and typography to the layout menus, drop-down options, etc.
  • Apply Human-Centered Design and Service Design Thinking approaches to guide the discovery and production of low-fidelity and high-fidelity deliverables.
  • Plan and co-facilitate workshops internally and externally. Manage approaches that identify and solve complex problems.
  • Create project deliverables: such as low and hi fidelity UI prototypes project plans, design using a Design System, discussion guides for research, insights reports and presentations among other materials relevant to the client challenge.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in User Experience Design, Product Design, Interaction Design & User Research.
  • Deep understanding of the Service Design and UX Design disciplines. Proven experience and knowledge on implementation and facilitation of the overall design process, using a variety of methodologies like: Process Mapping, User Journey Mapping, User Story Mapping, Wireframing, UI prototyping, User Testing, etc.
  • Experience and the ability to design for ECommerce platforms is required.
  • A compelling portfolio that demonstrates a focus on quality design outcomes.
  • Expert-level skills in prototyping & design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite (and other equivalent tools).
  • Experience with creating a project vision, execution, and overall quality.
  • Experience with planning and conducting user research and user testing sessions including moderator guides to generate artifacts from synthesis.
  • Experience advocating a User Centric Design approach that help in understanding the needs, pain point and desires of our users.
  • Experience in designing responsive digital products, with a strong focus on mobile, both native and hybrid.
  • Experience with workshop planning and facilitation.
  • Knowledge of usability and accessibility design considerations.
  • Experience with software development, midsize or larger SaaS environments preferred.
  • Experience using methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, and Lean UX.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in interaction design, industrial design, product design, service design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent experience
