Supervisory Clinical Nurse

This position is located in the Health Care Services, Nursing Service.
The primary purpose is to assist the Supervisory Clinical Nurses in managing and directing nursing care required for off tours of duty acting as the nurse supervisor and resource person to all areas (Long Term Care, Memory Support, Assisted Living, Independent Living Plus and Independent Living).
DutiesAs a Supervisory Clinical Nurse, you will:
- Plan and direct the nursing care required on the assigned unit for their tour of duty
- Assist the Supervisory Clinical Nurse in managing the unit in accordance with AFRH policies, medical care, nursing policies and procedures
- Maintain sound organizational relationships with employees supervised (staff nurses, support personnel), and assist in coordinating the activities of nursing service with other related services within the institution, as well as community healthcare organizations.
- Act as the clinical resource nurse
