The selected candidate will operate out of their Memphis headquarters. Your Role as the Integrator to the Client's Visionary

As the COO, you will serve as the integrator to their visionary CEO. Collaborating closely with their CEO, you'll bring their strategic vision to life with precision and efficiency. A successful integrator possesses a unique blend of qualities that are essential for bridging the gap between vision and execution. You'll need to be a master of operational excellence with a keen ability to translate big ideas into actionable plans. Your role will require exceptional problem-solving skills, a process-driven mindset, and a relentless focus on results. As the linchpin of the leadership team, you'll provide the stability, structure, and operational prowess needed to propel the agency toward their vision, which includes national expansion. Your Mission: As the COO, you'll be at the helm of the growth engine, responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the business. From driving revenue to nurturing talent, your role will be integral to the success. Here's what you'll be accountable for:

Meet or exceed gross profit and net income targets: Drive financial performance to surpass industry benchmarks. Maintain exceptional team engagement: Foster a high-performance culture. Deliver outstanding client satisfaction: Ensure the NPS scores and client retention rates are best-in-class. Drive revenue growth: Lead a team that develops and executes omni-channel marketing campaigns that deliver tangible results. Lead by example: Demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship to cultivate a team of top-tier talent. Optimize operations: Implement strategies to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency. Exceed client expectations: Maintain rapid response times and deliver exceptional service at every touchpoint. Strategic foresight: Accurately project financials and proactively identify opportunities for growth. Your Qualifications

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of marketing agency leadership experience, including hands-on experience crafting and executing B2B omni-channel marketing strategies that drive strong, measurable client outcomes. At least 3 years of successful people leadership is also required, with a demonstrated ability to grow and nurture talent. Ideal candidates also have the following experience:

Outcomes-Driven Leader: Given their unique selling proposition, they are seeking candidates with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and driving profitable growth despite obstacles. Strategic Planning: Ideal candidates have a proven track record in developing and executing strategic plans for business expansion. This involves market analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and setting clear objectives. Operational Management: Seeking candidates with experience optimizing operational processes and workflows to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure scalability as the agency expands nationally. Financial Management: A strong understanding of financial management is needed with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, managing the P&L, and resource allocation to support growth initiatives. Team Leadership: Experience building and leading a high-performing team, including a track record of recruiting, developing, and motivating talent. Seeking effective communicators and collaborators capable of fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Client Relationship Management: Experience in client relationship management, especially in a service-based industry like marketing. The COO should understand client needs, ensure high-quality service delivery, and maintain strong client relationships to drive growth and retention. Technology and Innovation: Given the evolving nature of marketing technology, the COO should be tech-savvy and have a good understanding of digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and emerging trends. They should be able to leverage technology to drive operational efficiency and competitive advantage. Change Management: National expansion will likely entail organizational change. Seeking candidates with experience in change management who can effectively navigate transitions, mitigate risks, and ensure smooth implementation of new initiatives. Accountability: Seeking a leader with a keen eye for detail, follow-through, and self- or team accountability.
