Description:

Leads all data driven operational improvement projects for Baptist Hospital of Miami (BHM). Acts as an internal operational consultant. Employs business acumen and leverages organizational expertise to guide internal clients utilizing Lean and continuous improvement principles through process improvement initiatives that lead to workflow improvements, productivity gains, and operational efficiencies. Charged with establishing, planning, and executing projects and goals for multiple functional units. Analyzes needs and determines optimal ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new solutions. Builds and manages a team of project managers and analysts who develop and maintain operational, financial, and clinical databases and dashboards which assist executive leadership in critical business decision making. Assists BHM executive team in driving strategic plan initiatives by developing and tracking KPI dashboards and other duties as assigned. Drives all operational improvement initiatives in conjunction with operational leadership by conducting operational assessments, providing advanced statistical analysis, facilitating project teams and workgroups, presenting project results and improvement proposals, and developing measurement tools to enhance BHM operating capabilities.
Estimated salary range for this position is $ $ / year depending on experience.Qualifications:

Degrees: Masters Licenses & Certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt Additional Qualifications: Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or equivalent. 7+ years experience in a complex healthcare delivery setting. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent required. Data visualization tool expertise (Tableau, ProDiver, etc.) strongly preferred. Past clinical or hospital experience a plus. Must have strong ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and influence in a matrixed environment and able to lead various change management initiatives with minimal supervision with tact and diplomacy. Professional & technical understanding is required to lead and direct the work of others. Must have strong advisory, leadership, and project management skills with the ability to build and lead a team of individuals with varied technical backgrounds who will act as project or team leads in implementing data driven solutions throughout the hospital. Understanding of and experience with clinical workflows, database management, and technical analytics tools. Must be self-motivated and multi-task oriented and learn new concepts quickly. Excellent verbal, written and communication skills are essential with the ability to communicate technical/difficult/sensitive information to varying audiences. Minimum Required Experience:
