The Senior Director, Strategic Programs, and Initiatives (SP&I) role is the day-to-day senior Oracle executive responsible for success of the Business Transformation Programs at the Strategic Clients. As a key leader for Strategic Programs and Initiatives, this role will be responsible for helping with the account engagement strategy, owning, and driving both sales pursuits and delivery ownership for a transformation program success of all Oracle solutions and services with large & global Oracle customers.This role is Oracle's primary leader for the customer, responsible to help with the development of account strategy, aligning and working with the sales team, driving effective account management processes, taking ownership & responsibility for the successful delivery of critical programs / projects, tracking and communicating progress, and growing Oracle's revenues across the full breadth of Oracle products/ solutions for the Strategic Client.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility for this role is to help with both sales and delivery activities of the Business Transformation Programs and Initiatives for Oracle's strategic customers – including participation in the contract negotiations and leading profitable financials of the strategic delivery efforts.
  • Partner with the Strategic Client to optimize both their Business and IT transformation.
  • Establish relationships with the customer's executive team, earning a reputation as one of the customer's trusted business advisors.
  • Ensure Strategic Clients get comprehensive and superior value from Oracle enabled solutions such that they accelerate their investment in our technologies, growing Oracle's focus and cross-pillar revenue.
  • Understand the Strategic Client ́s business strategy and industry challenges and design "tailored" Oracle enabled solutions.
  • Take Leadership in owning, driving, and leading a successful delivery of the Business Transformation Program / Projects for the strategic clients.
  • For the successful delivery of the Oracle driven Programs / Projects, co-ordinate activities across multiple program pillars, internal organizations, partners, and support pillars to ensure Strategic Client requirements are represented and to ensure a client-centric approach.
  • Coordinate Oracle resources in front of the customer providing a "one face, one Oracle" strategy for the client.
  • Understand Oracle's strategies and how these translate into solutions that address customer needs.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the customer's industry, including trends, business processes, financial measurements and performance indicators, and key competitors.
  • Participate in the strategic and tactical planning for the account.

Experience Requirements

  • 15+ years of Consulting Sales and Delivery experience with medium-to-large companies.
  • 10+ years account relationship management experience with major clients.
  • 10+ years of industry vertical experience.
  • Confirmed experience in leading Business Transformation Programs for large, complex, and global clients.
  • Leader with a 'Can-do, Proactive and Ownership approach'.
  • Can act as a trusted advisor and inspiring leader to further senior level relationships and drive additional opportunities.
  • Able to adapt "the big picture" to changing customer or Oracle priorities.
  • Skilled in positioning and selling solutions.
  • Track record of developing and completing complex account strategies.
  • Experience driving innovation and transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with accounts' senior management and across functions within customer organizations to gain commitment, obtain resources and achieve desired results.
  • History and track record of achievement of account growth objectives.
  • Cross-LOB and international team management experience.
  • Ability to lead and influence a geographically dispersed team without direct reporting line.
  • Strong team building skills and ability to resolve conflict situations.
  • Travel needs > 50+%.
  • Fluent in English; Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work with C-level executives, understanding their issues and business requirements, and laying out a road map of how to demonstrate Oracle's products and services.
  • Preferred BS or BA degree in business. Masters' degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

US: Hiring Range: from $139,300 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
