Job Summary: The Ammunition Handler is in charge of safely handling various types of ammunition, explosives, and rockets. They handle receipts, storage, and issuances of ammunition in support of operations at the Theater Ammunition Supply Point (TASP).

Key Responsibilities include managing ammunition and related materials, conducting inventory, updating documentation, and inspections. They must also adhere to safety protocols and regulations while ensuring timely and quality support to customers.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ammunition and hazardous material handling
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 3+ years of experience in military ammunition supply
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills:

  • Forklift operation and HAZMAT certification
  • Knowledge of military ammunition regulations
  • Experience with military ASP operations
  • Completion of relevant certifications
  • Prior MOS 89B experience
  • Military or contingency operations background

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physically fit for various working conditions
  • Valid driver's license and certification requirements
  • Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks
  • Compliance with physical qualification standards

Compensation: $33.84 per hour
