Overview

The Transformation Analytics Team Lead is responsible for representing the data analytics specialist team during the conversion process, acting as the liaison between the Transformation Analytics Manager, analytics and engagement teams and vendors. Responsible for executing all agency management system conversions from their original source system to the new platform. Works closely with the Agency Management vendors, 3rd party vendors, regional/agency data champions, engagement team, project management, product management to ensure the agency is on target to meet all data conversion deadlines.

What You'll Do
  • Work under the direction of the Transformation Analytics Manager to ensure all conversion deadlines are met.
  • Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, IT Departments, Training, and 3rd party systems as applicable to convert AssuredPartners Agency Management System data successfully and efficiently into the new destination system.
  • Assist Transformation Analytics Manager with project and team schedules.
  • Work with IT department on special projects as assigned by the Transformation Analytics Manager.
  • Partner with Engagement, Product, Training and Project Managers in all aspects of conversions including but not limited to pre-conversion discovery and workflow sessions, post conversion optimization, project planning, resource coordination and success.
  • Attend weekly project meetings.
  • Improve and develop conversion processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist the data analytics and engagement teams with analysis of conversion data by presenting data in a more digestible format when needed.
  • Assist the data analytics team before, during, and after conversion to maximize data integration and integrity.
  • Work with agency management system vendors to endure a successful conversion, by assisting with troubleshooting conversion issues.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of conversion templates and instructions for each type of agency management system conversion (AMS360, Epic, Sagitta, TAM, BenefitPoint, etc.) as well as 3rd party systems (ET File, Tinubu, etc.) to promote efficiencies in future conversions.
  • Assist with preparing mapping templates and testing plans.
  • Collaborate with the engagement team on the testing of the data samples delivered pre go live.
  • Coordinate with the Director of Implementation and Data, Client Engagement Manager, Project Manager and Training Manager for upcoming conversions and determine if a full conversion or a manual conversion is more appropriate; each office could have different nuances to address that need to be understood.
  • Ability to execute either "full conversions", meaning having the source systems as well as vendor involved who will do the data merge, as well as "manual conversions", meaning prepare and upload templates or assist the project management team with coordination and plan with the local office on manual data entry. The use of templates, 3rd party assistance, download, and/or local resources are considered. Execute any data extractions to a 3rd party, in the event of a book sale, for example.
  • Ensure all deadlines of the conversion team are met and satisfied that are set by Project Team, Agency Management System Vendor and/or Management.
  • Communicate with all partners respectfully and tactfully valuing everyone opinions.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and/or 7-10 years of insurance experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years insurance data conversion experience, preferably with Applied and Vertafore products.
  • Proficiency in various Microsoft applications, Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and understanding of database concepts and software. Ability to write basic SQL queries preferred.
  • Working experience with Agency Management System software, preferably with Epic and BenefitPoint
  • Valid Insurance License, preferred.
  • Working weekends may be occasionally required. Required to be on call for questions, following email and teams. Usually, no active work unless there is a conversion issue.
  • Travel is required for pre and post conversion meetings as applicable. Potential could be up to 25% with this position.
