ManTech's Department of Justice Division is seeking a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS) Services EDAS Portfolio. As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, with a focus on utilizing HBase, MapReduce, and Spark. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL processes using Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Apache Airflow. In addition, you will have experience with AWS services, including CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EMR, KMS, SQS, SNS, and Systems Manager. The ideal candidate will also have experience in supporting, maintaining, and migrating JavaFX applications to modern cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain and support the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, with a focus on HBase, MapReduce, and Spark.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Apache Airflow.
  • Utilize AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EMR, KMS, SQS, SNS, and Systems Manager.
  • Support, maintain, and migrate JavaFX applications to modern cloud-native solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Stay up to date with emerging cloud technologies and trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud development or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in maintaining and utilizing the Apache Hadoop Ecosystem, including HBase, MapReduce, and Spark.
  • Proficiency in ETL processes using Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, and Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with AWS services, such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELB, EMR, KMS, SQS, SNS, and Systems Manager.
  • Familiarity with supporting, maintaining, and migrating JavaFX applications to modern cloud-native solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance.
