General Description:
Working in the joint FDA/IFSH Laboratory Proficiency Test team, performs a wide variety of routine lab processes using simple problem solving, and assists in compiling standard laboratory data. Prepares chemical solutions and reagents and assists researchers in both collaborative and industry funded projects. Working in a BSL-2 laboratory, prepares and analyzes food samples containing chemical analytes.Department: Institute of Food Safety and Health

Requires B.S. degree in Chemistry, Food Science or related field.Knowledge & Skills:
Requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail in conducting experiments. Ability to multitask on projects, and work effectively on teams. Basic Word and Excel skills required for data entry.-
