We receive many clinical samples daily from Veterinary Clinics, and we run tests on those samples to help veterinarians identify issues with someone's pet. As a Sample Management Technician (SMT), you'd be sorting, tagging, and preparing samples for testing. The samples include blood, urine, fecal samples, and biopsies from vet clinics. Helping speed up the process means we are closer to finding the reasons behind the illness. Our laboratories provide a wide range of diagnostic tests and tools to support our customers worldwide.In this role:
  • Receive, prepare, and accession veterinary samples for testing.
  • Enter specimen data into a computer tracking system.
  • Rack and bundle samples for delivery to testing departments.
  • Support specimen storage and ensure Turn Around Times (TATs) are met.
  • Work independently with full support when needed.
  • Play a critical role in helping diagnose illnesses in pets.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and pay attention to detail.
  • Meet physical requirements of the lab environment.
  • Potential exposure to biohazards and hazardous chemicals.
Schedule & Pay:
  • 40 hours/week.
  • Shifts: Midnight-8:30 am / Monday-Friday, 11 pm - 7:30 am / Monday-Friday, or Midnight - 8:30 am / Monday-Friday.
  • Some positions involve weekend rotations.
  • Pay: $20.25 / hour.
  • Temporary (contingent) position.
