The Cloud Engineer is the expert implementer, building platforms and systems that are relied upon by our clients and Trek10 itself.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Own the implementation of stories and other engineering of advanced cloud work for clients
Perform research and documentation for problems and potential solutions
Build on Cloud Native patterns, IoT back-ends, serverless architectures, and highly automated work patterns and delivery methods
Augment and design support systems and response procedures and coordinate hand-off to Cloud Operations (CloudOps) Support Engineers
Assist with designing, estimating, planning, and implementing
Participate in cross-functional implementation teams to deliver solutions to clients
Contribute to internal IP and open source development
Participate in delivery efforts using Agile or other work methodologies
Introduction to and participation in customer-facing conversations where you can learn to present or debate technical decisions while educating our customers
Learn, research, and stay up to date on best practices and evolutionary capability in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud
Learn and share knowledge and skills with other Trek10 team members
Occasional travel may be required to meet stakeholders, kick off new projects, attend conferences, and attend company functions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1 year of general IT experience (programming, hardware, software, etc)
1 year of programming experience utilizing Python, , Typescript, GoLang, Java, C#, or other similar languages
If working in our Federal Practice area:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Have an AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification, AWS Cloud Architect Associate, Sysops Associate, and/or Developers Associate Certification
Bachelor's Degree
Beginner level experience building scalable, automated infrastructure
Beginner level experience with AWS Lambda and "Serverless" systems
Beginner level experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments
Beginner level experience working in a consultative, client-facing consulting role
Able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with the concept of Agile Project Management or other project management work methodologies.
Previous or current experience with Federal / Government stakeholders (if working for our Federal Practice area)
