*****$10,000 Sign-On Bonus*****Job Summary and QualificationsYou will operate conventional, fluoroscopic or portable radiology equipment in order to obtain radiographs of designated body areas.
You may perform or assist physicians in carrying out more complex examinations by mixing, preparing and administration of contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures
You will serve as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolution of work-related problems and coordinating patient flow
Qualifications:
- Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist
- Current California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit required within one year of hire
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course
- Knowledge of diagnostic principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment as acquired through satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program
- Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Must effectively read, write and verbally communicate in the English language
Regional Medical Center of San Jose is a 264 bed acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma Center. The hospital provides a host of technologically advanced services including Cardiovascular, Neuro, Orthopedic, Bariatric and General Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology and services for Women.
