RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build one or more new products and meticulously design new systems to replace multiple applications within Treasury Technology. Define, build and test solutions working on multiple projects/work-streams at the same time. Drive implementation of Key Features using Lean Agile methodology. Contribute to the design & development of business requirements. Participate in architecture consulting to enable design decisions, and assess design tradeoffs between speed to market, financial and strategic impact, and support the successful implementation of initiatives. Promote adherence of designs to blueprints, architectural principles and enterprise standards. Design and develop solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python and rest specifications. Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Microservices, and CI/CD deployment. Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets using Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka. Assess and maintain delivery frameworks including SDLC, test driven development (TDD), and functional delivery of more than one large scale IT projects. Perform coding and debugging using analytical skills and understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Assurance, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or related; and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following: Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python and rest specifications; Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud, and distributed technologies including Apache Spark, Microservices, and CI/CD deployment; Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets using Elasticsearch, Redis, and Kafka; Assessing and maintaining delivery frameworks including SDLC, test driven development (TDD), and functional delivery of more than one large scale IT projects; and, Performing coding and debugging using analytical skills and understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
