Description:

  • Light scheduling for the physician up front, but helping out with a lot of the follow-up for the patients.
  • They will be giving them anything the doctor needs to inform them about and setting expectations for follow-up
  • They are taking insurance and doing authorizations before visits and procedures.
  • They will make sure everything is authorized before they visit.
  • They will have Patient and Physician interaction, so they must maintain a professional and customer service attitude.
  • Their interactions with those two demographics are imperative to their job.

Skills:

Administrative Assistant, Physician Support, Authorizations, Scheduling, Follow Up

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. *Healthcare Knowledge Preferred*
