Job Description
Under limited supervision, the Consultant II is responsible for investigating, negotiating, and settling complex property damage and liability insurance claims. The individual travels to the loss site to conduct a thorough analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesSummarizes documents and enters into claim system notes
Conducts subrogation investigations
Handles claims involving sink holes, extra-contractual liability, or claims that include Public Adjuster involvement
Notifies insured of exposure over the policy limit
Completes and reviews contents inventory, contents pricing, and mitigation bills
Investigates, reviews, determines, and verifies complex coverage/policy information
Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process
Education4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience2 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job does not have supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation offered for this role is $52, ,790.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
