SYSTEM STROKE MEDICAL DIRECTOR W/ UOFL HEALTH-LOUISVILLE, KY

The University of Louisville Health System, in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking applications for a System Stroke Medical Director.

Job duties include: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assist with operational planning, budgeting, and equipment selection, provide guidance and leadership and implementation of performance improvement and measurement, collaboratively monitor and assist with execution of quality and safety processes, facilitate communication between providers and staff, assist in the maintenance of/compliance with certification, licensure, and accreditation, conduct Interdisciplinary Stroke Rounds weekly with the stroke service team and manage Stroke Registry and Epidemiology data collection.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

ABPN certification Neurology and Vascular Neurology
Eligible to be state licensed in the United States
US residency or fellowship training
Outstanding communication, bedside manner, and professionalism; excellent organizational skills
A strong work ethic and capability for effective collaboration in the multi-disciplinary care of patient
