Senior Research Associate, Cell & Molecular Biology - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and innovative Research Scientist for Cell and Molecular Biology. This role is a temporary contract of 6 months and is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will contribute to an early drug discovery program in the Targeted Protein Degradation space. This role offers the unique opportunity to directly impact a growing portfolio of targeted therapies in a fast-paced and innovative research environment. The work within this position will be instrumental in advancing the next-generation treatment to benefit patients in need. This is a temporary contract of 6 months.

Skills & Requirements:

Degree in oncology, molecular biology, cell biology, or related discipline.Proven experience in a relevant field.Strong ability to conduct and optimize cellular screening assays.Proficiency in data processing and interpretation.Experience in managing CROs and running cell-based assays.Ability to contribute to cross-functional project teams.Commitment to staying informed about relevant literature. The Senior Research Associate of Cell & Molecular Biology's responsibilities will be:Independently conduct, optimize, and proactively troubleshoot cellular screening assays and other mechanism of action studies.Responsible for data processing, interpretation, and presenting to cross-functional team members.Design and execute experiments to evaluate Mechanism of Action (MoA), target dependency, off-target liabilities, and phenotypic responses.Manage Contract Research Organisations (CROs) to run cell-based assays and other molecular biology techniques.Contribute experimentally and intellectually to cross-functional project teams.Stay up to date with relevant literature.
