Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job Description

This person will be responsible for processing payroll as well as handling the configuration within ADP Workforce Now. They will enter new codes and take care of necessary configurations. The role is split between HRIS and payroll responsibilities. The individual will work with other Payroll Specialists to process payroll for 600 employees, including both semi-monthly and hourly weekly payrolls across multiple states such as NJ, NY, IL, and FL. The role also involves handling union-based deductions and other garnishments.

Hard Skills
  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Experience with multistate payroll (NJ, NY, IL, FL)
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Work Environment

Will be onsite in Jersey City. The location is in a building within the plant, which is their corporate location but situated at a facility.
