Remote, Oregon, United States Warner Music Group Full time

A little bit about our team:

At Warner Music Group, we're a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we know that each talent makes our collective bolder and brighter.

Technology is one of the most important parts of our business. Whether it's signing up new artists; ensuring we provide the right data to Spotify, YouTube, and other digital service providers; or helping artists use the latest AI tools and make thoughtful decisions with data-driven insights – technology plays an invaluable role in our success. The engineering team at Warner Music Group makes all of it a reality.

Your role:

WMG's User Experience Team is looking for a Product Designer who will support our team in the production of prototypes, design system components, visual designs and cutting-edge experiences across our entire product stack: from dtc apps to internal software systems. Product Designers at WMG thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of simplifying the complex. In this role you will collaborate cross-functionally with writers, researchers, product managers and engineers to create intuitive, user-centered and innovative digital products. Your primary focus will be on creating designs that are not only functional but also especially delightful to use. Your work will have a measurable impact, it should guide users, drive user engagement and establish consistent and repeatable patterns that enable faster design and development.

Here you'll get to:

Design at the cutting edge and at global scale, helping to bring vision to life and working on the most innovative products that further WMG's position as the fastest growing major record label in the world

Help create new components and styles, contribute to and maintain our Design System and supporting documentation and guidelines to ensure consistency and clarity across all platforms.

Learn from other world-class designers, who will provide guidance and support as you execute design projects.

Develop and implement design strategies that transform, innovate and optimize our products to align with user needs and business goals and actually see them through from vision through research, design, testing, implementation and to launch.

Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers and writers to integrate user insights, opportunities and requirements into the product development processes.

Ensure that design solutions meet accessibility standards and guidelines for an inclusive user experience.

Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in product design and user experience.

Help shape the culture, engagement and processes of the WMG User Experience team and larger Technology Organization in this time of growth and change.

Learn from and collaborate with folks from across the music and tech industry to grow your career and industry knowledge.

About you:

At least 2 years of proven experience in visual design, mobile design, Product Design, UX Design, or similar roles with a strong portfolio showcasing how you've designed, delivered and optimized intuitive and impactful experiences.

You can work independently or on a team and constantly strive to raise the design bar.

Strong proficiency in Figma and knowledge of other major design and prototyping and animation tools.

Laser focused on solving for user needs, with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.

Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines. You welcome feedback, are a good listener and value a wide range of opinions and perspectives.

When applying, kindly provide detailed instructions on how to access your portfolio, showcasing examples of your process and highlighting the impact your work has had.

At Warner Music Group, we're a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we know that each talent makes our collective bolder and brighter. We are guided by four core principles that underpin everything we do across all our diverse businesses:

Music is Everything: Music is our passion, and we can never get enough. Tastes, trends, and tech will change, but great artists and songwriters will always be our driving force.

Global Growth, Local Expertise: Music is a global language. Through communication and collaboration, our success can come from anywhere and translate everywhere.

Innovation and Insight: Pushing the boundaries requires the best information and the boldest imagination. We use both to create the future.

Empowered by People: Like the artists we serve and the music they make, our differences make us stronger. This is a place where every talent can belong and build a career.

About us:

As the home to 300 Elektra, Asylum, Atlantic, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world's premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike. And our renowned publishing company, Warner Chappell Music, represents genre-spanning songwriters and producers through a catalogue of more than one million copyrights worldwide. We're the home to WMX – the next generation services division that connects artists with fans and amplifies brands in creative, immersive, and engaging ways – and Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) – the ground-breaking global distribution company for independent artists and labels.

Together, we are Warner Music Group: Music With Vision & Voice.

WMG is committed to inclusion and diversity in all aspects of our business. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and will evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, religious creed, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, marital status, medical condition as defined by state law (genetic characteristics or cancer), physical or mental disability, military service or veteran status, pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
