\tDue to (insurance rules and regulations) requiring applicants to be of legal age to perform certain types of work, Heartland Co-op has created a window of opportunity for many high school students, who are looking to get their foot in the door, working in the agricultural industry. This lead-in opportunity opens the door for those students to come in and gain practical experience in functions that are allowable by said insurance (restrictions/exclusions).\r

\t\tThe type of experience you will obtain in these High School Agriculture openings will be dictated by the (insurance restrictions/exclusions) referenced above, as well as the needs of the specific location.\r

\t\tWhen not working on allowable projects, those hired in these roles will have the ability to observe other functions being carried out, learning the ropes, similar to job shadowing, just longer term (not a single day job shadow).\r
