Main Purpose of Job

The main purpose of this position is to ensure grants and\r
program activities are appropriately measured, monitored, and reported. This\r
position will develop evaluation plans and tools, engage stakeholders to\r
solicit input, collect and analyze data, develop evaluation reports, and\r
disseminate evaluation findings. This position will also assist in providing\r
evaluation guidance and support to center staff and partners, using evaluation\r
results to identify lessons learned and providing programmatic\r
recommendations.\r

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:�� A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health Education, Community Health Education or Health Science.\r
Experience: Two years of experience planning, developing, implementing and promoting health education projects. \r
Notes:�\r
1. Candidates may substitute�a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 18 credit hours in Public Health Education, Community Health Education, Health Science or related behavioral science and three years of experience planning, developing, implementing and promoting health education projects�for the required education and experience. \r
2. Candidates may substitute a Master's degree in Public Health, Community Health Education, or Health Science�for the required education and one year of the required experience.\r
3. Candidates may substitute a Doctorate degree�in Public Health, Community Health Education, Health Science or Public Health Policy�for the required education and experience. \r
4. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service�experience as a commissioned officer in Health Educator and Community Health classifications or Health Educator and Community Health specialty codes in the Public Health field of�work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and�education.\r

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Desired Candidate should have the following experience.\r
1. Experience in evaluating Public Health Programs.\r
2. Experience using ArcGIS or other geographic information systems.�\r

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.\r
