The Business Analyst will support the Business Systems Manager in the management of key strategic and operational aspects of BASF's approach to CRM (Customer Relationship Management). This includes leading, coordinating, and assistance with the implementation of several activities.

  • Being responsible for development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Integrated Business Planning part of the CRM solutions that are field facing for US Crop, ST and Seeds team
  • Being responsible for execution of components of US Ag Solution CRM Strategy related to SalesForce.Com and integration of business planning and forecasting into salesforce ecosystem
  • Being the business Owner for field facing systems supported by Business Systems team in liaison with Regional Solutions team and Regional/Global IT team
  • Providing strategic guidance on US Crop data that is fundamental to the success of digital and CRM strategy implementation and drive differentiated CX and marketing experiences
  • Providing strategic input and leadership to vendors and the BASF Data Management Team on US Crop data related activities in collaboration with the Business Systems Team, Business Analytics Team and Fulfilment teams
  • Providing support through communication and training to field team and internal (marketing, and sales organization) related to business systems, BPI, Forecasting, data and other ad-hoc requests
  • Liaison with internal business operations group for a successful execution of projects that need inter group squads (e.g., Business Systems team Power User for Sales )
  • Continuously leading new and innovative ways of improving customer experience in working with BASF and US Crop Group

  • Ability to be cross functional as needed for the success of the team
  • Ability to manage projects while supporting the execution of overall vision and strategic roadmap of business systems and business operations team
  • Project management skills with strong business and strategic acumen
  • BS, BA or advanced degree in business or related field
  • Highly analytical with technical skillset to understand and analyze data using analytics tools/technology and translate data into usable information
  • Ability to skillfully coordinate with field sales team, external vendors, customers, and internal teams within US Crop
  • Experience in sales, marketing, business operations, customer service, operational or financial role
  • Ability to coordinate & align with many groups to successfully implement internal/external changes
