Acting Junior Counselor

Supports the Head counselor with group management, engaging with campers, and running activities. Junior counselors may be alone with a maximum of six (6) campers inside the building and a maximum of three (3) campers outside of the building. Must be a rising high school senior or have worked one year as an AJC. 16 years of age or older.

Responsible for a group of approximately 16 campers and supervising Assistant, Junior, and Acting Junior counselors. Manages group dynamics and mediates conflicts. Plans daily activities and curriculum. Maintains daily communication with Unit Head. May be alone with a group of campers inside and outside the building. 21 years of age or older.
