Commercial Contracts Analyst

Responsible for the management of all contract activities for low to medium-complexity commercial contracts between Hyperion and its customers and/or vendors.
This includes reviewing, editing, and negotiating contracts, managing administration of contracts through the Hyperion contracts database, and continuously working to improve the contract function's processes and tools to drive standardization and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Analyzes low to medium complexity contracts, such as NDAs and amendments, for risk/reward balance.
- Edits contracts to align to HMT legal and commercial standards as well as to reflect feedback from HMT commercial stakeholders.
- Collaborates with HMT commercial teams to lead and support contract negotiations with customers and/or vendors.
- Obtains any required approvals for contracts prior to releasing contracts for signature.
- Ensures final contracts are signed by authorized signatories.
- Manages all administration of contracts in the HMT contract database, Intelagree, to include updating requests, facilitating signatures, setting reminders, and ensuring proper storage of fully executed contract versions.
- Proactively designs and implements contract processes and workflows; drives consistency through use of standards whenever possible.
- Creates and maintains contract tools (e.
- Develops contract training content for HMT commercial stakeholders, with goal of increasing understanding of contract risks and processes/tools; Assists with delivering training as assigned.
- Conducts research and assists with gathering stakeholder feedback relative to higher complexity commercial contracts, as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
-2-5 years of experience in a contracts or other analysis role
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical, reporting, and presentation skills
- Financial analytical skills are desirable
- General project management skills
