About the Team:


The Pricing Strategy Team develops and implements monetization strategies for UKG's product and services portfolio based upon current business goals and competitive market dynamics.

The team conducts primary market research and performs competitive pricing analysis. They monitor the evolving competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.

They partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Finance and IT to correctly position the product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with UKG's business strategy and revenue recognition requirements.

They evaluate opportunities to monetize products offered initially at little to no cost, or to create upsell opportunities as products are repositioned in the marketplace.

They project and monitor the impact of pricing & packaging changes. And they coordinate implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.

About the Role:


Reporting to the VP of Pricing Strategy, this new highly collaborative role will play a pivotal part in driving revenue and margin growth through the development of pricing strategies & tactics, competitive analysis, and market research for new and existing products and services.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills and a track record of successfully contributing to cross-functional initiatives.

  • Partner crossfunctionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, IT and Finance to ensure pricing strategies support the desired business objectives and buying experience.
  • Design & lead qualitative and quantitative sales and customer research to test strategy hypotheses on pricing & packaging.
  • Partner with research teams on indepth market and competitor research and analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and competitive landscape
  • Design analysis to draw conclusions from product and feature usage patterns.
  • Persuasively communicate your findings and recommendations to all levels of management through clear presentations and mastery of the qualitative factors that complement your analyses.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of pricing strategies and tactics, recommending adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with Product to determine & implement commercial instrumentation of the product
  • Manage consolidated sales pricing tools
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights
  • Comfortable working with crossfunctional teams to implement new business strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree
  • HCM experience
  • Indepth understanding of Quote to Cash processes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate pricing recommendations to stakeholders at all level
  • Enterprise mindset
  • Extensive knowledge of subscription and contract management
