Job Summary:

Prepares, analyzes, and distributes reports reflecting performance, profitability, and other financial results. This role will be a part of the Revenue team ensuring accurate gross to net calculations, sales discount and allowance accruals, channel accruals and related reconciliations and reporting. The role will participate in the profit reporting of third-party products. The individual will also work with stakeholders across Commercial Operations, Contracts & Pricing, Corporate Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain on a variety of initiatives and carries out corporate initiatives related to Sales Operations, Finance and Accounting.


Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain journal entries posted for product revenue and gross to-to-net accruals
  • Calculate and provide analysis for financial impact of price changes, returns reserves, chargebacks, and any other adjustments to revenue and gross-to-net assumptions
  • Calculate channel accrual rates by customer and product as part of month-end closing
  • Provide and present sales and financial results for monthly and quarterly meetings
  • Verify and analyze sales, chargeback and upfront rates, wholesaler inventories, returns, in-transit shipments, and other data for accuracy and completeness to ensure appropriate reserves and resolve variances to forecast.
  • Monitor risk and potential impact of changes in assumptions for underlying key accounting estimates.
  • Compile all reporting necessary for company's audits, and interact directly with external and internal auditors for reviews and audits
  • Assist in the implementation and/or enhancement of revenue management and reporting systems as well as other special projects and miscellaneous tasks as assigned
  • Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.
  • Operates in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirements
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.


Job Requirements


Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Preferred commercial pharmaceutical experience
  • Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Should be flexible in managing projects.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Will possess strong business ethics for handling confidential information.
  • Able to make independent judgment decisions.
  • Comfort working with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid oral and written communication.


Experience

This position requires proficient personal computer skills including email, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet and graphics applications. Must be comfortable working with systems such as SAP and Business Warehouse.
