Provides administrative support to managers and work groups. Works independently and handles a wide variety of office duties and special projects. Manages confidential materials that require broad and comprehensive knowledge of the organization's policies and operations. Responsibilities require discretion, judgment, tact and poise.

  • Composes correspondence requiring understanding of operational matters, signs for manager when authorization has been given.
  • Responds to situations or conflicts involving the administrative functions of the office.
  • Delegates assignments to administrative staff and develops work deadlines.
  • Independently performs special projects and assists with complex presentations.
  • Ensures that request for action or information are relayed to the appropriate staff member.
  • Plans and coordinates large meetings and conferences, including catering when required
  • Maintains schedules, travel arrangements and coordinates meetings with multiple staff members.
  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

4+ years of Executive Assistant experience.
Ability to type an average of 40 WPM.
Ability to multi task, prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Ability to understand and follow instructions, policies and procedures.
Demonstrated history of reliability and punctuality.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Product Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to quickly learn and use new software applications as needed.
Maintain a positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
Maintain sensitive and confidential information.
Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
Organized with strong attention to detail.
Sound decision making, problem solving, and judgment skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, both in person and on the telephone.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
