The Alliance Manager, Strategic Accounts is responsible for building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships with key strategic company alliance partners. This position requires the ability to manage a multi-level alliance program including strategic, technology, and co-marketing partners. The Alliance Manager, Strategic Accounts is primarily responsible for the growth and operation of our key strategic alliances, increasing business over current levels and building ongoing, year over year revenue growth. In addition to preparing product demonstrations and proposals, this person will lead education and coaching of assigned alliance sales teams and work with the VP of Channel Sales to create joint messaging, and assist with developing alliance marketing communication programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary relationship and business development liaison for key strategic company alliance partners; develop and maintain strong consultative sales relationships with all key buying influences in each assigned strategic alliance, including multiple levels within the alliance's organization, to include traveling to visit customers and partners.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the business process and pipeline of assigned alliance partners.
  • Educate, coach, and communicate regularly with assigned alliance sales, marketing, product team, and executive sponsors.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of each strategic alliance's current and long-term sales, marketing, and product plans, while keeping management informed of all changes in plans, objectives, and key buying influences.
  • Drive and influence end-user business through the company alliance ecosystem.
  • Explain benefits of offering the company's products and services that can be provided to end-users through our alliances.
  • Responsible for robust understanding of the company's product mix; provide product demonstrations, training and webinars as needed in support of alliance sponsors and/or end-users.
  • Work with alliances to remedy any inconsistencies, problems, and concerns and interface with internal company representatives to facilitate resolution of any issues.
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators according to pre-determined goals and expectations.
  • Leverage each assigned alliance's strengths and drive incremental demand.
  • Position the company as the "Brand of Choice" with alliances.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships and efficient communication channels with the VP of Channel Sales. Establish performance measures and perform periodic evaluations of partner program effectiveness and competitiveness.
  • Train, understand product mix, complete paperwork, participate on end-user calls, and provide ongoing training and support to Alliances.
  • Work with Alliances to remedy any inconsistencies, problems, and concerns.
  • Interface with internal company representatives to facilitate resolution of issues.
  • Ensure best-in-class execution of all partner programs.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor degree

5+ years of experience in healthcare software solutions (MUST HAVE).

Established relationships in the channel space (MUST HAVE).

Experience working in a complex sales environment, where multiple people are involved in the purchasing decision.

History of managing Alliance opportunities through partner forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.

Successful track record of team selling to drive and direct business through partners, including web-based presentations to manage product positioning and strategies.

Experience selling software solutions through alliances into IT departments of hospitals.

High level of product knowledge of critical communications, IT, and competitive products.

Ability to demonstrate enterprise software at all levels within the hospitals.
