Position Description
  • Assist employees with questions about processing invoices in Ariba IM
  • Train employees and coworkers on processing invoices in Ariba IM
  • Maintain the Ariba IM mailbox
  • Work within Ariba IM and Lawson to:
    • Resolve issues with invoices stuck in reconciling status in Ariba
    • Resolve issues in Lawson for exceptions from Ariba
  • Assist with any testing updates in Ariba IM and Lawson
  • Audit/Review all invoices keyed into Ariba IM for accuracy before they are released for payment
  • Meet month end/year end deadlines
  • Review and process 1099's and file with IRS. Work B notices
  • Additional duties as needed by management

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or any closely related discipline combined with 3-5 years of related work experience OR equivalent work experience in lieu of degree considered.
  • Proficient with business systems: Lawson, Ariba IM, Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to follow Accounts Payable procedures and guidelines which include our SOX controls.
  • High level of detail skills used to research/analyze data and troubleshoot issues through to resolution.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • High level of patience when training or working with coworkers.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes as determined by upper management.
  • Some overtime may be required during month/year end or when processing 1099's.
  • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, prioritize work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow rules.
  • Ability to maintain high quality of work with little direct supervision.
