Laboratory Technician - Pathology

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The main responsibilities include organizing blocks in numerical and alphabetical order, using a block melter, performing QA on blocks, picking up rush tissue cassettes, and loading them onto a tissue processor. Additional duties include running the xylene recycler, cleaning molds, picking up toolboxes, changing routine H&E stainers, pulling blocks for recuts, and occasionally helping to change tissue processors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in a science field (biology, biochemistry, virology, etc.)

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s) with some possibility of becoming permanent.

Work Environment

Working with the immunohistochemistry (IHC) team in pathology laboratories. The work schedule is from 1 PM to 9:30 PM.
