We are seeking a Mammography Technologist PRN OV for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and QualificationsPerforms those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology, specifically mammographer and bone densitometry. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Provides patient care during procedures. Performs all necessary quality control and assurance functions established with the M.Q.S.A. and maintains all records accordingly. Takes full responsibility for the accreditation of the facility through the FDA and the ACR.
What qualifications you will need:- Vocational School Graduate in Radiology Technology
- ARRT (M) Registered Radiology Technologist Mammographer
- Florida State License in Radiology Technology
- Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
