We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Oviedo Medical Center. As a key member of our Imaging Services Department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures using high-frequency sound waves to detect pathology.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Ultrasound equipment and follow ACR protocols and radiologists' guidelines to produce diagnostic exams.
- Responsible for workflow, including PACS, to obtain a permanent record of the examination and assist in the daily operating of the Imaging Services Department.
- Use sterile techniques with all procedures requiring it and assist the radiologist with procedures when a physician's presence is required.
- Ability to perform routine procedures with stationary portable equipment in all areas of the facility, including the operating room.
- Ability to perform procedures of various types, including routine and invasive procedures.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Currently registered through ARDMS as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- Graduate from an accredited program in Ultrasound.
