Amazon Search is seeking a quick-thinking, detail-oriented program manager to help us build Amazon-scale datasets for our machine learning efforts. Specifically, you will accelerate the progress of our computer vision teams both by measuring the performance of their solutions, and by creating new datasets that incorporate feedback from the performance monitoring. To succeed, you must possess a broad knowledge of consumer products in general, excel at program management, and continuously seek out ways to improve and scale up our dataset building efforts.
Key job responsibilities
· Leading the development of datasets for machine-learning initiatives, including orchestrating the efforts of multiple stakeholders and resolving tradeoffs between quality, latency and cost.
· Designing, operating and analyzing data groundtruthing pipelines that involve multilingual workforces.
· Assessing the quality and content of images and other data for locales in which Amazon conducts business.
· Monitoring the performance of production machine-learning systems and machine-learning development processes, and identifying improvement opportunities.
· Communicating opportunities and status reports to Amazon leadership.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
