Position Overview

This position is a software-testing role working with an integrated team of business analysts, product owners and developers. The primary objective for this position is to plan, prepare, and execute a suite of test cases written based on business requirements or user stories as they pertain to changes within the software products. The position also includes defect tracking and status reporting. Should have knowledge and experience with various financial business processes.

Location

The work schedule is onsite M - Friday at our NEW office located at 7700 Eastport Parkway, La Vista, NE. *Remote work and sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Responsibilities


• Review business requirements. Analyze functional system changes and integration points

• Create test strategies, plans, and test cases based on analysis

• Prioritize tests based on high, medium and low criticality

• Write and review end to end test scenarios and test scripts based on functional specifications

• Review test plan and test cases with team

• Execute functional, Integration and regression test cases

• Identify and record Defects, following defect management processes

• Familiarity with ADO or Agile project tools preferred

• Provides support and retesting during User Acceptance testing, assessing test suite for impact

• Work collaboratively with the Project Teams. Change and Release Management, Application Support Teams to ensure transparent, integrated processes and seamless support delivery.

• Keep up to date with standards and requirements of Software Quality Assurance best practices

Qualifications


• We are open to hiring entry level to mid level candidates. One year of quality assurance testing experience is required

• Associates Degree in a Computer Science field or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Experience in testing application and software enhancements end to end and deploying on time

• Possess excellent communication and partnership skills

• Has experience with Regression, Integration, Functional and User Acceptance testing

• Familiarity with Agile project tools preferred

• Knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent test management tool preferred

• Candidates should have manual testing experience. Experience with test automation such as Selenium, Tosca, Test Complete or equivalent is helpful

• Understanding of methods and processes used in Application Lifecycle Management and industry standard software quality assurance practices

• Proven problem solving and analytical skills, with high levels of attention to detail
