Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Southern California Permanente Medical Group is recruiting an experienced surgical hospitalist to join the Orange County team The surgical hospitalist will be dedicated to the Direct Observation Unit (DOU) and Neurosurgery/Spine Med/Surg Floor and will be an essential part of Orange County becoming a complex spine center. We are currently seeking a physician who is enthusiastic about building a program to be part of a collegial, collaborative, respectful team of 7 neurosurgeons, 4 PA s, and 1 neurosurgery chief resident. The surgical hospitalist will be dedicated to neurosurgery patients, assist manage post-surgical patients, and round on DOU and patient floors with 10-15 patients maximum. The selected candidate will have support from 4 PA's and 1 dedicated PA for rounding - PAs manage admins and discharges and help with daily notes. Equal Employment Opportunity
