POSITION SUMMARY:


We are seeking an intern to support our Supply Chain Group, specifically our Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing and Inventory Management team.

They will gain exposure to transportation order processing, transportation and warehouse spend analytics, inventory optimization efforts and potentially individual sourcing projects in transportation to drive YoY savings.

The experience will provide the opportunity for cross-functional teamwork, contribution to value-add projects and ability to gain experience within a developing organization.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support transaction processing in logistics/transportation with focus on improving efficiency/effectiveness

Support the 'big push' in 2024 for logistics cost out and inventory optimization including: Spend analytics;

Transportation lane or mode bid/RFQ support and awards;

Load size optimization/maximization to reduce cost; and

Inventory projects driving optimized working capital and improved customer service.

REQUIREMENTS:
Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics/Transportation or Business-related degree

Good MS Office/computer skills.

Ability to systematically organize and present data, manage to project deadlines and ability to work, communicate cross functionally.
