Job Description

Job Summary

Supports management of Consumer Bank products, services, pricing. Provides product portfolio reporting to monitor performance in alignment with Synovus strategies. Supports launch of new products, features, and solutions to increase acquisition or adoption. Maintains product compliance. Partners with business partners to support execution of product initiatives. Develops subject-matter-expertise in product services managed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops maintains product portfolio reporting to monitor performance. Analyzes data to identify emerging trends, understand underlying drivers, and identify causes. Collaborate with Data Finance business partners to source new information, operationalize reports, or resolve data issues/gaps.
  • Supports execution of pricing changes and internal external awareness.
  • Supports internal external awareness of current marketing campaings promotional offers.
  • Supports team members' product knowledge by creating maintaining product reference material, publishing announcements, researching resolving ad hoc team member requests, etc.
  • Assists product managers as needed on strategic, product, or ad hoc initiatives and project requests.
  • Develops subject matter expertise in products services managed.
  • Supports product management activities for consumer small business deposits, lending, credit cards and related services.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analysis, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Project Management, Marketing, Communications, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations or related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum experience:

  • Three (3) years relevant experience or proven record of analyzing and interpreting data to support product roadmap

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to source synthesize data for critical thinking, form validate theories, and articulate conclusions.
  • Ability to work independently and solve-problems.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow to meet deadlines.
  • Good verbal and in-person communication skills.
  • Ability to learn banking and finance subject matters.

Additional Information

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Banking or finance education and background.
  • Knowledge of marketing or product development, trend analysis, and industry competition.
