The Digital Policy Team is tasked with overseeing fraud detection and prevention measures. While our primary focus is on the digital landscape, we often collaborate with various departments. Based in Columbus, OH, the Digital Policy Analyst will provide insights into opportunities and performance metrics across Digital Checkout and Returns processes. This role involves utilizing our suite of fraud prevention tools to enhance customer experiences while mitigating risks to Abercrombie & Fitch Co. The analyst will manage tool performance in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, identify value opportunities through data analysis, and work with cross-functional teams to implement new policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with third-party AI partners to optimize system integration and troubleshoot issues alongside our engineering team.
  • Analyze data to report on performance metrics related to checkout and returns, including payment success rates and chargeback statistics.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address evolving fraud and abuse challenges across various customer interactions.
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of digital policies using our decision-making tools, focusing on opportunity identification and quality assurance.
  • Create performance dashboards to track key performance indicators across checkout and returns.
  • Identify and resolve ad-hoc issues affecting digital policies, aiming to reduce costs associated with appeasements.
  • Engage with customer care teams to audit and uphold digital policies throughout their lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates to the business regarding fraud metrics and appeasement trends.
  • Collaborate with customer care teams to review processes impacting digital policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, information systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Excel for data exploration and visualization.
  • Experience with dashboard tools like Tableau or Hadoop to identify trends and communicate performance results.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital product management, digital transformation, or the retail sector.
  • Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer support.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an Agile environment while prioritizing effectively.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets to derive insights and drive actions.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts to executive leadership.
