About Us:

At ChipStack, our mission is to dramatically reduce the time, cost, and engineering effort needed to build complex silicon chips by bringing recent advances in AI to chip design. Our founding team comprises of experts in chip design, AI, and modern software stacks. What You'll Do:

  • Architect and build highly scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems on one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Craft elegant and efficient REST APIs that are reliable and low latency
  • Design and implement data pipelines that seamlessly integrate with ML models and ensure smooth operation.
  • Own the deployment cycle, enabling on-premise/VPC deployments at customer sites.
  • Optimize and refine performance, ensuring our systems scale gracefully with user growth.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, data scientists, and DevOps engineers to bring the ChipStack vision to life.
  • Contribute to our culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Who You Are:

  • A passionate backend engineer with 5+ years of experience building production-ready systems.
  • An expert in one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficient in Python to build backends and MongoDB to build databases.
  • Fluent in REST best practices and performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiar with building and integrating ML models into production systems.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a big plus.
  • A strong communicator and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • A continuous learner with a relentless desire to push boundaries and grow.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with on-premise deployments and network security.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Open source contributions and side projects demonstrate your passion for technology.
