Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an Events Designer and Events Teams Manager (Cyber Engineer) to lead our
Information Environment section supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) National Cyber Range
Complex (NCRC).
This facility supports the Test Resource Management Center's (TRMC) mission to provide realistic
cybersecurity environments for test and evaluation of major DoD acquisition programs and to enable
the conduct of realistic training and certification events for the DoD Cyber Mission Force. The NCRC
facility may also support non‐DoD customers such as Department of Homeland Security (DHS), industry,
academia and international partners.
The candidate will supervise and manage all aspects of the Event team to perform all tasks essential to
support of the NCRC Range operations. Primary responsibilities include team supervision and direction;
event design, coordination, scheduling, resourcing, de‐confliction; test development, design, coordination,
and scheduling, and stakeholder engagement. The position also evaluates, recommends, and
implements automated test tools and strategies; assesses, designs, and conceptualizes test scenarios,
approaches, objectives, plans, tools and other state‐of‐the‐art technologies related to test and
evaluation requirements. Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures to ensure
system requirements are met. Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and
architectures for application products.
Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports recommending enterprise and site
improvements. Serves as subject matter specialist providing weapons system vulnerability testing knowhow
for the support of user requirements of varying from Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3 through
TRL 9.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 14+ Years with HS; 12+ Years with AA; 10+ Years with BS; 8+ Years with MS; 6+ Years with PhD
  • Candidates with Armed Forces, college courses or Associate Degree, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and directing systems vulnerability testing.
  • DoD M / IAM‐II certification within 6 months of assignment to position (CAP, GSLC,CISM, CISSP (or Associate))
  • Top Secret/SCI Eligible clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Eligible clearance
  • Master's Degree in a STEM subject, particularly systems engineering, network engineering, or
  • cybersecurity or Associates or Bachelors degree in computer science, or engineering or its equivalent with 15+years' relevant experience
  • High degree of organization and communications skills
  • Active, Reserve, or National Guard military service with network or cyber security experience as a field‐grade commissioned officer or senior warrant officer
  • IAT level III (CISA, GSE, SCNA, GCIH, CISSP (or Associate)) or IAM Level III (GSLC, CISM, CISSP (or Associate))Demonstrated experience leading systems engineering teams
  • Demonstrated experience delivering from time‐sensitive requirements
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $243100

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
