Overview:

Join Cognizant as an inspiring leader within the Program & Project Management community. This key role is responsible to design transition solutions and to lead/drive transition of multi-service, multi-geo and multi-vendor transitions. Successful candidates will not only manage transition objectives but will also have responsibility for ensuring satisfaction of client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Pursuit team in creating the Transition solution for large deals in pursuit including RFP responses and client presentations relating to how the portfolio will be transitioned from the client to Cognizant
• Showcase GPMC Transition methodology and best practices to clients
• Lead and direct transitions in the role of a Transition lead ranging from 3 to 9 months and involving multiple Cognizant groups and horizontals (travel to client location involved as required)
• Participate in Due Diligence, Transition Solution workshops and Deal orals presentations prior to contract signing (may involve short term travel to client locations)
• Work closely with the Cognizant Delivery teams that will take ownership after Transition completion
• Manage the financials of the engagement (Transition cost and its components) during the period of transition
• Oversee People transition efforts (rebadging of resources from client) as required in some transition
• Establish Agile, AD, IT service management processes and tools for the engagement during the Transition period

Required Capabilities/Skills /Years of Experience
• Multi-service line transition solutioning and execution experience is mandatory. Must have proven knowledge and experience of cross tower Transition solution or delivery integration.
• Experience of at least 3 engagements of greater than 100 FTE size in Transition Solutioning or delivery
• Experience in Transition Solutioning and Orals defense for at least 5 pursuits within Cognizant or competing peer organization
• More than 15 years of delivery experience in managing large engagements in the Applications and Infrastructure space (over 90% of our large deals involve AD and AM of IT applications and infrastructure)
• Being hands on and detail oriented, capable of creating and reviewing solution and improving them - this is not a plain oversight, PMO, or people manager role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, proven experience in interacting with CXO level interaction skills
• Strong ability to own and drive the engagement and bring multiple groups together across Cognizant during the Transition period - this is not a Consulting role but one that involves leadership and direction
• Flexibility for short and medium travel
• Sound financial management skills - knowledge of various components impacting engagement profitability and how to manage and optimize costs

Additional "Good to have" capabilities:
• Cloud migration engagement delivery experience
• Agile delivery experience
• Experience in Business or IT Transformation programs

Technical Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience across multiple industry domains
• Experience in managing transitions larger than 500 FTEs across Application support and Application development services
• Experience in designing transition solutions and in making orals presentations to clients as part of sales pursuits/ RFP process
• Experience with transition Infrastructure services transition is desirable
• 18+ years of experience

Required Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred

Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000.00 and $165,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
