argenx US Commercial Planning and Readiness team is growing and seeking a highly enthusiastic and driven Associate Director for the Commercial Insights community.

The Associate Director, Commercial Insights will lead global market intelligence initiatives in support of VYVGART and VYVGART HYTRULO in neurology and pipeline indications. This role partners closely with the Commercial Planning and Readiness Community in the US and key global cross-functional partners in to manage ongoing market monitoring activities for all approved and in-clinic products across key indications of interest. Specifically, this role will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Global monitoring of competitive activities and dissemination of information
  • Conference coverage planning for competitive intelligence
  • Market simulation and competitive readiness workshops
  • Close partnership with US and Global Commercial & Medical communities

The Associate Director, Commercial Insights will report to the Director of Commercial Insights.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform market intelligence activities for insights generation in support of efgartigimod in neuromuscular conditions including myasthenia gravis (MG) and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP)
  • Manage global CI monitoring for the neuromuscular landscape and collaborate with local market partners to ensure comprehensive coverage and data gathering
  • Liaise with global teams to identify intelligence needs and design frameworks to gather information and deliver relevant insights
  • Analyze and interpret results from market research and landscape data to prepare meaningful, timely reports and updates for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Synthesize findings to address business questions, inform strategy development, and support superior decision-making
  • Engage in thoughtful cross-functional collaboration with analytics, marketing, medical, and market access to integrate market insights
  • Effectively manage multiple external vendor/partner relationships to ensure high quality deliverables to achieve business objectives within budget and timeline
  • Contribute to an innovative culture that strives for out-of-the-box thinking and creative approaches to commercial insights utilizing primary and secondary tools
  • Seek opportunities to co-create with internal and external stakeholders in efforts to achieve insights excellence
  • Partner with Finance and Director of Commercial Insights to manage the department budget including vendor agreements and contracts

Skills and Competencies:

  • Highly skilled in strategic thought capabilities, analytical and intuitively able to make connections across multiple data points
  • Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key stakeholders within the commercial and medical organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptive and motivated to execute efficiently
  • Solid business, planning, and budget management acumen
  • Ability to identify and understand business opportunities and develop a research plan to provide actionable insights
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • BA or BS, Advanced Degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial or medical functions within the biopharmaceutical industry with 3+ years in market intelligence
  • Extensive experience with market landscape and competitive data assessments
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to effectively define business issues and recommendations
