OVERVIEW:
The Manager FP&A will be responsible for supporting cross-functional teams and executive leadership as it relates to Global Go to Market/Advertising expenses. The primary focus of this role will be to support the annual budget and forecasting process, as well as to report on financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results against budgets and forecasts. This position will assist in improving financial status through management and optimization of Global Advertising expenses and cross-functional implementation of financial processes as they relate to Global Go to Market initiatives.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:
- Manage ~$200M of expense planning and reporting, during a period of exceptional sales and category growth, with the responsibility of (1) direct report
- Forecast and budget various elements of the P&L, creating processes and models where necessary to improve quality of insight and speed
- Work closely with Accounting to ensure monthly actuals are booked correctly
- Work cross-functionally to develop financial models for analysis
- Assist ongoing process improvement, both within Finance and with business partners
- Build deliverables that condense complex topics into actionable information that is communicated effectively to the business, as well as Finance leadership
COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good sound interpersonal skills
- Advanced MS Excel / Office skills required
- Ability to handle multiple projects and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A or Accounting
- Previous experience managing direct reports preferred
